Description

General purpose, switch mode, genuine KPC-024FA-VI-UK, 12V 2A 24W AC adapter manufactured by Channel Well Technology (CWT). This AC adapter is suitable for any device requiring a 12V power supply and the device maximum current consumption is 2A or less, and requiring a 2.1mm x 5.5mm power input plug., such as LED lights, CCTV Cameras, WiFi Routers, Keyboards, small DC motors, etc.

When using this adapter to power a 12V DC motors, please make sure the starting surge current of the motor is not larger than 2A.

Its output current (max 2A) is dominated by the connected device, in other words, the output current is drained by the connected device rather than forced by this adapter. If your device has specified a max power consumption rather than max current consumption, the maximum current can be calculated as the result of max power consumption divided by 12, that is Current (A) = Power(W)/Voltage(V).
