This 12V 5A 60W AC adapter is suitable for AvTex branded TVs only, it is NOT suitable for other branded TVs due to its  special pin polarity configuration of the 4-pin output plug.

If your  AvTex TV requires a 12V 5A or less than 5A current (or less than 60W power consumption) AC adapter with a 4-Pin type power input plug, then this AC adapter is correct for your AvTex TV.

The output current is dominated by the connected device, in other words, the output current is drained by the connected device rather than forced by the AC adapter.
