Description

This is a general purpose, switch mode, genuine KPL-060M, 24V 2.5A (60W) AC adapter. This AC adapter is suitable for any device requiring a 24V power supply with maximum 2,5A current (or 60W maximum power consumption), and requiring a 2.5mm x 5.5mm power input plug, such as 24V step motors, printers, Homedics massagers, etc.

When using this adapter to power a 24V DC motor, please make sure the starting surge current of the motor is not larger than 2.5A.

If your device has specified a max power consumption rather than max current consumption, the maximum current can be calculated as the result of max power consumption divided by 12, that is Current (A) = Power(W)/Voltage(V).

The output current is dominated by the connected device, in other words, the output current is drained by the connected device rather than forced by the AC adapter.
