Genuine CWT 48V 2.5A 120W AC Adapter, Model KPS120048-VI

Description

General purpose, fan-less, switch mode, genuine CWT KPS120048-VI, 48V 2.5A 120W AC Adapter manufactured by Channel Well Technology (CWT). This AC adapter is suitable for any device requiring a 48V power supply and consuming maximum 120W power, and requiring a 2.5mm x 5.5mm barrel type power input plug,  such as: 3D printers, setp motors, LED lights, etc.

Important Note: The output plug of this product is a standard 2.5mm (hole diameter) x 5.5mm (outer diameter) barrel plug and doesn’t have a central pin, make sure this is a correct output plug for your device.

When using this adapter to power a 48V DC motor, please make sure the starting surge current of the motor is not larger than 2.5A.

Its output current (max 2.5A) is dominated by the connected device, in other words, the output current is drained by the connected device rather than forced by this adapter. If your device has specified a max power consumption rather than max current consumption, the maximum current can be calculated as the result of max power consumption divided by 48, that is Current (A) = Power(W)/Voltage(V).
