Description

Genuine CWT CAD120241, 24V 5A (120W) general purpose, fanless, switch mode, AC adapter manufactured by Channel Well Technology (CWT). This AC adapter is suitable for any device requiring a 24V power supply and consuming maximum 120W power, and requiring a 4-Pin DIN plug with pin polarity configuration of Pin1&2 positive poles and Pin3&4 negative poles.

This AC adapter is suitable for 24V versions of Bush, Goodmans, JVC, TOSHIBA, SHARP, and Luxor branded TVs.

When using this adapter to power a 24V DC motor, please make sure the starting surge current of the motor is not larger than 5A.

If your device has specified a max power consumption rather than max current consumption, the maximum current can be calculated as the result of max power consumption divided by 24, that is Current (A) = Power(W)/Voltage(V).

The output current is dominated by the connected device, in other words, the output current is drained by the connected device rather than forced by the AC adapter.
